Skills for Security, the skills and standards setting body for the sector, has been created to represent all of these sub sectors. The organisation aims to work with employers to raise skill levels and provide a workforce that is highly trained and fit for purpose.

Skills for Security is an employer led organisation with a Board of Directors drawn from industry, supported by a stakeholder management committee and employer consultation groups, which reflect the diverse activities of the subsectors listed below.
